About me
Academic Background: I’m currently in my fourth year of medical school. I have previously helped key stage 3 students learn at a tuition centre. My teaching style consists of first getting an idea of the student’s initial understanding of a topic, doing a brief (or deeper if needed) lesson on that topic, and giving the student some quizzes, exercises or past paper questions to do. This helps them put their learning into practice and helps me check whether they have understood the material. Finally, I mark their work, provide feedback, and help them understand why they got something wrong or why a certain answer is correct. I believe helping them understand content is the most crucial part of learning.
Hobbies and Interests: I love reading, my favourite place in Birmingham is Waterstones! I’m also learning how to crochet and currently trying to make a sweater.
